Caritas Beogradske nadbiskupije je uz podršku Caritasa Austrije otvorio vešeraj u Centru za migrante u Obrenovcu. U vešeraju rade dve zaposlene Caritasa koje peru odeću korisnika, kao i posteljinu u kampu. Pored pet industrijskih veš mašina sa mašinama za sušenje koje su instalirane u vešeraju, Caritas obezbeđuje tečni deterdžent i omekšivač, kese za prijem i predaju veša korisnicima, kao i ostale materijale za pranje i higijenu prostorije.
Pre nego je Caritas obezbedio sredstva za ovu uslugu, posteljina i ćebad su vožena na pranje u 40 km udaljeni kamp u Krnjači, a odeća korisnika nije prana. Otvaranjem vešeraja, higijenski uslovi kampu su višestruko poboljšani, a epidemije vaški i stenica mogle brže da budu suzbijene.

Caritas Belgrade Archdiocese, with the support of Caritas Austria, opened the laundry at the Migrant Center in Obrenovac. Two Caritas employees in the laundry are washing clothes of migrants, as well as their linens. In addition to five industrial washing machines with dryers, Caritas is also providing liquid detergent and softener, bags for receiving and handing over clothes to beneficiaries, as well as other materials for washing and hygiene. Before Caritas provided the funds for this service, the linen and blankets were driven to wash at a camp in Krnjača, 40 km away. Personal clothes of migrants could not be washed. With the opening of the laundry service, the camp hygiene conditions have been improved significantly, and the epidemics of lice and scabies could be more quickly suppressed.
